BTS Annual Awards

The BTS Annual Awards were presented at the Annual General Meeting and East Anglia Trombone Day on Sunday 20th November 2016.

We are delighted to have presented the Sheila Tracy Award to a legend of the musical and trombone world, Maisie Ringham Wiggins.

The Sheila Tracy Award is presented in memory of the late Sheila Tracy and is awarded to a female trombonist in recognition of a significant contribution to the field of trombone music. The ever modest Maisie was delighted to accept the award "on behalf of all female trombonists, everywhere!"

Other awards were made to:
Michael Rath for an Outstanding Contribution to the World of the Trombone
Alan Hutt for Outstanding Teacher of the Year
Jonny Hollick for Outstanding Student of the Year
Elliot Mason for Outstanding Player of the Year
