Join Hepworth Band as it hosts its first Youth Brass Day.
Supported by Brass Bands England, Holme Valley Parish Council & One Community Foundation, it’s a great opportunity for young brass & percussion players to come along & enjoy a full afternoon working with mentors from the band.
Katy Jones, Principal Trombone with the Hallé Orchestra, a former winner of BBC2 Young Musician of the year and one of the UKs leading professional orchestral trombone players will be leading an inspiring masterclass.
The Youth band, Hepworth & Katy will then join forces for a very special Gala Concert as a fitting finale.
The event is open to any young brass & percussion players & is free to attend.
