On Sunday, 22 September 2013, the BTS Wessex Trombone Day will return, repeating the success of the past two years.
Bruce Harding, BTS Wessex Regional Representative, writes:
For the last couple of years we have held our Regional day in the Pimperne village hall near Blandford (post code DT11 8UZ), which has proved very popular. It is set in quiet rolling countryside with plenty of parking. Why change a good thing? So we’re there again this year.
Tea, coffee and soft drinks will be available for a small charge but we suggest you bring a packed lunch – and a music stand.
So join us for a relaxing day doing what we all do best – trombone playing.
Featuring:
- Kevin Morgan (principal trombone, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra)
- Brett Baker (principal trombone, Black Dyke Band, and international virtuoso)
- Steve Hayes (Trinity College examiner for classical and jazz, also rock and pop; Big band Musical Director, Brass tutor at Bournemouth and Southampton Universities)
