The British Trombone Society Intercollegiate Trombone Choir Competition 2024
Open to all UK Conservatoires and Universities.
The Prize
The Warwick Music Publishing Trophy, to be held by the winning College for two years.
Entry Details
REPERTOIRE:
Trombone choirs should select their own programme, to not exceed 20 minutes in duration.
Applications close Monday, 1 July 2024.
General Conditions
- Choirs must contain a minimum of 8 players and may contain any combination of instruments.
- Choirs must be made up entirely of students from the entering institutions.
- Entrants must submit a completed intention, no later than midnight (BST), Monday, 1 July 2024.
- Entrants must be available to perform at The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, 200 Jennens Road, Birmingham, B4 7RX on Saturday, 26 October, 2024 as part of the British Trombone Festival.
- Final round performances are open to the public.
- Travel expenses to and from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire will not be paid.
- The decision of the judges is final and binding, there is no right of appeal.
