2026 RAF Northolt
Photographs taken at the BTS Trombone Day, hosted by the RAF Music Service, Northolt on Sunday 8 March 2026.
Participants enjoyed a warm-up led by BTS President Tom Lees, exploring performing vocal music with Emily White, and a recital by the Royal College of Music Trombone Ensemble conducted by Byron Fulcher, who also led the traditional trombone choir. The day concluded with a concert by the amazing RAF Squadronaires and guest artist Rory Ingham, who had earlier led an entertaining improvisation workshop.
On International Women’s Day, we were especially pleased to welcome so many female trombonists, from young students to leading professionals.
