On the CD is some great playing on Still Small Voice arranged by Philip Wilby and played by just three fine trombonists plus Fenella Howard Smith at the piano, London-based ensemble Trombonanza appearing as a sextet in Steven Verheist's Capriccio (for solo bass trombone and trombone sextet) featuring soloist Simon Minshall, Frescobaldi's Toccata and the Bruckner Etude by Enrique Crespo (both including contrabass trombone), a Bach fugue arranged by Ron Barron played by Trombonanza and friends, the Gordon Jacob Trombone Octet and James Kazik's Mini Overture played by larger ensembles.

In addition, there are solo and quartet items plus large trombone choir pieces: Fanfare by Simon Hall, Flamethrowers and Galaxies by James McFadyean, Derrick Parker's Morley Suite from music by Thomas Morley and finally the excellent Tower Music by Vaclav Nelhybel.

Full details of the pieces and the players will be published separately.
