Dick Tyack retiring
Posted 28 September 2007 by Robert Sheldrake
Following 17 years in the pit at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, bass/contrabass trombonist Dick Tyack has announced his retirement this month.
Prior to Covent Garden, I was with the BBC Symphony for 20 years, in that other underground chamber, Studio 1, Maida Vale. This was preceded by three 3 years rampaging around the West Country with the Bournemouth Symphony.
