The computing power of an Apple iPhone has now been channelled into producing a musical instrument remeniscent of a trombone. The 'Leaf Trombone' application controlls the note using a slide (enough positions for an octave!) and buttons to use higher and lower octaves. When you blow into the iPhone's microphone, it produces the sound.
Judging by this video demonstration, the instrument has a long way to go before it can rival the Conns and Raths of this world!
Who would have thought that you'd use 2.4GHz Bluetooth wireless technology to do a trombone duet?!
