The recordings have been made as part of the YouTube Symphony Orchestra project. With the help of the masterclasses, players across the world are invited to record themselves as an audition for the orchestra. With X-Factor style voting, the public will vote for the players in the orchestra. The winners will be flown to New York to perform Tan Dun’s new ‘Internet Symphony’ in Carnegie Hall.
