Huge congratulations from the BTS go to the Hughes Brothers for their category wins at this year's National Eisteddfod of Wales.

Bass trombonist George won Brass Solo 16-18yrs. George is entering his final year at Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester and the BTS is incredibly proud to support George through the BTS Instrument Loan Scheme with our Conn 62H.

Tenor trombonist Freddie won Brass Solo 19yrs and over. Freddie is currently a student at the Royal Northern College of Music and was featured at the 2022 Durham BTS Day performing with his Genesis Trombone Quartet and the RNCM Trombone Choir. Freddie is also a past recipient of the BTS Instrument Loan Scheme.
