Royal Academy of Music Masterclasses

The Royal Academy of Music in London is hosting a series of three masterclasses in October 2012 featuring London Symphony Orchestral principal trombone, Dudley Bright, and Concertgebouw principal trombone, Jörgen van Rijen.
- Wednesday 3 October 2012, 14:00-17:00, in the Concert Room
with Dudley Bright, principal trombone of the London Symphony Orchestra and Academy professor, who will be working on orchestral trombone style and technique with particular focus on Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 3 in D minor. - Monday 29 October 2012, 10:00-17:00, in the Recital Room
with Jörgen van Rijen, principal trombone of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and visiting professor of trombone at the Academy. - Tuesday 30 October 2012, 10:00-17:00, in the Recital Room
with Jörgen van Rijen, principal trombone of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and visiting professor of trombone at the Academy.
Entry is open to the public, free of charge with no tickets required.
Remember that the Royal Academy of Music and the BTS are hosting the 2012 London Trombone Festival on Sunday 28 October, just before Jörgen van Rijen's masterclasses.
