BTS Jazz Trombone Competition

As announced in the spring 2006 issue of the BTS magazine, The Trombonist, and on the home page, the Jiggs Whigham Jazz Trombone Competition will take place on Sunday 11 June 2006. Open to trombonists aged 16-25, the first prize is a King 2B Jiggs Whigham model trombone and the opportunity to perform a solo live on stage with the BBC Big Band at the International Trombone Festival in Birmingham this July.
